Miller, Alfred Kelso
Fairport: May 17, 2007. Born 1915 Jamestown, NY. Predeceased by his parents, James Francis and Florence Elizabeth Kelso Miller and by his beloved wife of 58 years, Wilma Jean Leonard Miller and his brother, Paul James Miller. Survived by beloved son, Rodney Alan Miller; sisters, Ruth (Richard) Tramontana and Helen (Stanley) Kasavage and devoted and honored extended family, Ronald and Bonnie Nicholson and Stephanie Nicholson White, Robert White and precious Nicole White; a special thank you to Jennifer and Kimberly. An Honored and Highly Decorated Veteran of WW II. Mr. Miller taught Instrumental Music for 21 years and was a Guidance Counselor for 12 years. He was loved and remembered fondly by all of his students. Mr. Miller was also an active member of Fairport-Flower City Masonic Lodge #476 an honored member of Rochester Consistory and dedicated 66 years to Media Temple of the Shrine. Mr. Miller was a life member of the American Legion Fairport, Post 765 and of the Fairport Memorial Post, 8495 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the Fairport Masonic Hall, 87 S. Main St., Fairport, NY. In lieu of flowers please consider the Shriner's Children's Hospital, Shriner's International Headquarters, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607. For further information please visit:

Al Miller, Mr, Miller, was so instrumental in my life when we was my band leader, and after graduation, as a friend. I benefit from guidance and friendship every day...and miss his notes in his uniques handwriting and miss our chats.
