Lois Travis Obituary
Hilton: Passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 16, 2008 at the age of 82. Originally from Wellsville, NY Lois eventually settled in Rochester where she worked for 20 years for the NYS Dept of Taxation & Finance before retiring in 1991. Lois is survived by her 6 beloved children, Susan (Ronald) Kuehne, Patricia (Gus) Bouros of Toronto, Barbara Travis, David (Mary Lou) Travis, Daniel (Charlene) Travis of SC, and Tamara Jones; 12 grandchildren, Michele (Richard) Holcomb, Lisa (Ben) Arnold, SC, Brian (Daniela) Kuehne of FL, Christopher (Annette) Omeluch, Jon Bouros of Toronto, Traci Travis of SC, Christine (Steve Vierra) Cruz, Michael (Ricki) Travis of TN, Scott Kuehne of FL. Vicki Bouros of Toronto, Sarah (Jeff Wight) and Andrew Travis. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Betty Alsworth of Rushville; nieces, Dawn (Jim) Youmans of Wellsville and Linda (Gary) Vogel of Rushville. Predeceased by her brother, Hollister Alsworth and sister, Jane VonLotta.
Friends are invited to call TUES. EVE ONLY from 7-9 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Ave., Hilton. Funeral Service Wednesday, August 20, at 11AM at Cross Point Free Methodist Church, 1021 Hilton Parma Rd., Hilton. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing may contribute to The American Lung or American Heart Assn.
