Dear Tina,
Ron and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time. I regret that when we met at the bank yesterday I had not yet heard about Bob's passing, or I would have personally extended our condolences.
As a Rush-Henrietta School employee, I shared the respect and appreciation for Bob's good work at BOCES, as well as our district and community. We will remember you and your family in our prayers. Sincerely, Mary & Ron Alt

Dear Tina,
I offer my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. I didn't realize who Bob Thompson was until I saw the Henrietta Post. I've seen him around RH (especially basketball games) for a number of years, always smiling, energetic and helpful.
Sincerely, Jenny Smith from exercise class.

Dear Tina,
Bob brought his love of life and his great sense of humor to everything he did! He was a fine educator who worked hard to make sure youngsters had the opportunities they deserved. And everyone who knew Bob knew how much he adored you and his family!! My prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Bob was a gifted, cheerful, lovely man, who
served his family, friends, BOCES, and the youngsters of Section V with dedication and
unbcommon affection. Our world is a good
deal more lonely without him around. My
best wishes to the family.

Dear Tina and Family,
Although your grief is great at this time, please know that Bob's warmth and presence touched thousands of lives. We all will miss his laugh and friendship. When talking about Bob, the common phrase has been,"...and he was a true gentleman."

Tina,

It was with great sadness that I learned of Bob's sudden passing. Be assured of my prayers for you and your family as you deal with losing such a wonderful man.

During our years together on the NYSALB board, one of the greatest joys was spending time with you and Bob during our Friday dinners.

I am in Florida and will be unable to be at the calling hours or funeral, however, please know that my sincere and heartfelt condolences are with you and yours.

Dear Tina, Becky and Jeff, I am going to miss Bobby so much. There are so many memories that I can't count them on my fingers and toes. I can't tell you how much he meant to me. I asked him to write me a recommendation to get into college, and without any hesitation, he wrote a glowing report on my behalf. I have loved you guys for over thirty years now. Thank you for all your support, Bobby will be so loved and missed. All my love, Claudia Starkweather Elton

My sincere sympathies to Bob's family. I first met him when he worked with Dr. Joe Marinelli for our school's superintendent search. Over the years, we had often run into each other at various events where we took the opportunity to share stories and reminiscences of days past---such as our early days as young English teachers. Later, my daughter---as a student teacher---had the privilege of meeting this kind, gentle man when he was the Interim Superintendent at Romulus CSD. She, too, was immediately drawn to him by his warm, friendly conversation and his sincere interest in her as a beginning teacher. We will miss Bob very much; our prayers are with you all.
