The day is beautiful and warm; we have been with family and friend enjoying ourselves. We have come back from riding on a boat and my brother tells me Mollie has died? One moment my feeling are one way, and the next I am filled with sorrow that I feel in my heart at the loss of my Aunt Mollie. My eyes are full of tears, sinus congested, my face red and puffy. Memories and visions of Mollie flood into my mind.
I remember being a kid in Chicago, living on the second floor with Mollie (our bedrooms were adjacent and apart from everyone else’s). I would go into her room and sleep with her. Knowing what an artistic kid I was, she would ask me to draw on her back. While she guessed what it was that I had created with my fingers on her skin, she would sweetly ask, “Lynda, would you just rub my back a little while I think about what you drew?” It was seldom my turn to get a drawing on my back. . .
Shortly after this period, Mollie moved out. She got her own apartment, not far from our house. Donna, my best friend, and I would often visit Mollie. She would take us for a drive, usually to go shopping. However, we would inevitably be lost after driving only two blocks. Still, we were always excited to go out with Mollie, she was so much fun.
No more long conversations with Aunt Mollie-none of that laughter either.
I love you Mollie, thanks for the memories

Words cannot express how sad we feel at the loss of Mollie. She was a blessing to you and to everyone who knew her - Randy and I will remember her for her friendliness and always making us feel like family. She will also be remembered for her love of animals and know that she will be greatly missed by Luke, Connor, Mela and Irish.
