Coco, Joseph Albert
Hernando, FL/Rochester: August 25, 2008, age 81. He was born April 13, 1927 in Rochester, New York, Son of the late Carmelo and Rosalia (Alessandro) Coco. He died Monday, August 25, 2008 in Lecanto. He was an Army veteran serving during WWII. He worked as a machinist for an auto parts manufacturer. Joseph moved to Hernando from Rochester, NY in 1991. Mr. Coco was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Citrus Springs, FL.
Mr. Coco was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Fay Malara and Ann Zaffuto; and a brother, Nelson Coco. Surviving are his wife, Lucy Coco of Hernando, FL; Son, Joseph (Judith) Coco of Danbury, CT: 3 sisters-in-law: Mabel Michaels of Rochester, NY; Marcella (Carmelo) DiBernardo of San Diego, CA; Flora Mammano of Rochester, NY; 2 grandchildren: Alex and Evan of Danbury, CT; and step-brother, Robert Coco of Kapaa, Hawaii.
A Funeral Mass for Mr. Joseph Albert Coco, age 81, of Hernando, will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, August 29, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Eric Peters officiating. Friends who wish may send memorial donations to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
