Emil Klaver Obituary
Avon: Died on August 27, 2008, at age 63. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Mary Ann Klaver; his children, Starr (Kenneth) Selover, Robert (Tammy) Klaver, Marti Klaver, Deborah (Gary) McCray, Tracey (Stephen) Badger, Laura Werndle; brothers, Louis (Carol) Gardner, Leo (Karen) Gardner; sister-in-law, Judy Hand; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; aunt, Lilian (Vinny) Masciangelo. He was predeceased by his brothers, Carl and Melvin Klaver, Terry Gardner, Robert Hand; sisters, Barbara Gardner, Arline Allen. He worked for Xerox for 35 years and was a foster parent to several children.
Friends are invited to call (Today) Friday 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon where his Funeral Service will be held Saturday at Noon. Private interment, Avon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Avon Rotary-Lions Ambulance or Lima Volunteer Ambulance.

Emil... You were a true friend to all who knew you. Your friendship was without conditions, and your love of family made you bring out the best in all of us. Your leaving has left us a void in our lives and hearts that no one else will ever fill. Be at peace now cousin, God has brought you home to watch over us. We will always be your family, here on earth and in heaven, and our love will always be with you.

Emil my old buddy, I just want to say that I'm glad I was able to work with you at Xerox in the pressroom for all those years. My dearest friend, I have said many times this past week and it warrents repeating this way I can say it to you. Emil, you never met a stranger. You shared everyones problems and joys.
I will truely miss talking to you on the phone and the physically company of you and Maryann.When eating a Friday evening fish-fry, you will always be present mentally.

Emil's father, Carl, was my mothers brother. The last time I saw him he was a young boy about nine. I'm so glad to hear that he was a loving dad and grandpa and also a hard worker. My sympathies are with you.
