Dean, Herbert M. "RED"
Gates: Thursday, September 4, 2008 at age 83. Loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. Predeceased by his mother, Maria "Gwenie"; father, Herbert P.; and brother, Raymond. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marjorie; daughters, Linda (Richard Windhauser) Doll, Elaine (Richard) Oliver; grandchildren, Tammy Marotti of KY, Richie and Brandy Oliver; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Alissa of KY; brothers, William, Robert (Gail); sister, Dorothy Manzer; sister-in-law, Bernice Roberts; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Herbert enjoyed traveling to Florida, golfing, square dancing, riding his bike and any thing else he could do outdoors. He loved it when the sun shined. Retiree of Delco Products and a WWII Army veteran. He will sadly be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 4-7 PM Sunday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Monday at the All Seasons Chapel, White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd, follow by Entombment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580 or Journey Home, 994 Long Pond Rd., Rochester, NY 14626. To share a memory please visit:
