Ernest Kubanka Obituary
Greece: Friday, September 5, 2008, at age 89. Predeceased by his sister, Margaret Battersby and brother, Louis Kubanka. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary; brother, William (Laura) Kubanka; sister, Marion Wowkowych; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Charlie Doering.
Ernest served in the 17th Airborne Division of the US Army Air Corps. He was a retiree of the Eastman Kodak Company, and was an avid fisherman, bowler, and euchre player.
Family and Friends may call Tuesday, 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. To share a special memory please visit:

So sorry for your loss. My mother Julia Pacek also sends her condolences. Mom is 96 and lives in Assisted Living in Geneva. My dad Ray is deceased since 1999.
