My Dear Monica:

I thank you for the opportunity to get to know you; not only as the mother of my dearest friend, but as a special friend to me also. You stayed strong for so many reasons, but mainly for the four dearest people in your life; Chris, Anthony, Toni Lynn, and Nicolette. As they go through the healing process of your loss, I promise to support them like you have always asked me to do when times were tough. Rest in peace, guard over your loved ones, and please guide me too. I always enjoyed our heartfelt conversations.

I thank you for being you. You didn't lose the battle, you won the right to rest and retire.

With love,
Sandy
