James Young Obituary
Rochester: September 12, 2008. He passed quietly at age 94. He is survived by his devoted wife Alice of 62 years; sons, Rodney, Calvin (Eileen) and daughter, Kathleen; grandchildren, Deanna, Peter, Lizette; sister, Dorothy; many devoted friends and family.
NO PRIOR CALLING. Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 20th, 11AM at St. Luke's & St. Simon Cyrene Episcopal Church, 17 South Fitzhugh St. Special appreciation for the loving care given to him while at home by the Visiting Nurse Service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alice Holloway Young Society for Scholarships, Monroe Community College Foundation, 228 E. Main St., Rochester, NY 14604 or any Charitable Organization of your choice in memory of Mr. Young.

I waited on the Alice and James Young frequently when I was a pharmacy technician at Wegmans on East Avenue, and fondly called Mr Young "Young Man". He was a delightful person and I will always remember his warm smile. My sincere condolences to Dr. Young and the rest of the family.
