Schenectady, NY: 86, of 101 Brian Crest Court, Schenectady, NY, formerly of Ogdensburg, NY, died Friday September 19, 2008 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY, as a result of a massive stroke. Rita is survived by her husband Donald H (Scud) Sharrow, Schenectady, NY; daughters Donna & James Fahey, Spring Valley, NY, Anne Torbin, Pittsburgh, PA, Mary & Richard Favre, Schenectady, NY, and Maureen Sharrow, Pittsford, NY; sons Thomas & Kathy Sharrow, Schenectady, NY, Philip & Penny Sharrow, Ogdensburg, NY, Christopher & Winnie Sharrow, Watertown, NY, John & Jane Sharrow, Fort Montgomery, NY, Peter Sharrow, Schenectady, NY, Michael & Debbie Sharrow, Abilene, TX, Mark & Eileen Sharrow, Ogdensburg, NY and Paul Sharrow, Chambersburg, PA. Rita's son James predeceased her in April this year. She is also survived by one sister Shirley Garvey, Ogdensburg, NY; 31 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral in Ogdensburg, NY on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at 12:30 PM followed by interment at Foxwood Memorial in Ogdensburg. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral at St. Mary's Cathedral. Donations to American Cancer Society or Msgr. A.D. Charbonneau Council, 258 Knights of Columbus, Ogdensburg, NY 13669.
