I had known Jesse since we were teens. I'll remember skateboarding in Bells parking lot. Playing pool or video games in Billiards. The bonfires in the side yard. Teaching him to drive in the dead of night in empty parking lots in my little red ford escort. Late night road trips that didn't go very far, but to us, it was a universe away. Sitting on the end of the pier at Charlotte beach watching the sun come up. Talking endlessly about who we would be in the future and how we'd still be close. Not everything works the way you plan. Friends, no matter how hard you try, drift apart. To many, "we'll get together next time your in town". Not a day goes by when I don't think of and treasure the laughs, the smiles and the fun. I will miss him, We will all miss him terribly. To McKenna, no man, no one is perfect, we all have our faults, but If there is a testament to how special your Father was, and in a sense still is, it is from tremendous outpouring from those who were blessed to having known him.

Today we celebrate your life. First in Colorado, now New York. Your leaving us so soon has broken our hearts, a link in the family chain is missing, but one day we will all be together. Until then Jesse, rest peacefully. We shall miss you, only to hold you deeper in our hearts! With ALL OUR LOVE: Mom, Dad, McKenna, Eric, Dona, Rob, Laura and Kristen.
