Mt. Morris: Sept. 28, 2008. He is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Ruth; 4 Children, Wayne (Cheryl) Barney of Caledonia, Bonita (William) Lafferty of Henrietta, Gary (Yolanda) Barney of TX, & Thomas (Debra) Barney of Mt. Morris; 7 Grandchildren & 7 Great-Grandchildren; 2 sisters Lorma (George) Rathbun of Dalton & Norma (Gordon) Mehlenbacher of Dundee; Several nieces, nephews, cousins & his beloved dog Snoopy.
Friends may call WED., 9:30 to 11 am at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel St., (Rt. 408), Mt. Morris, where Memorial services will be held WED. at 11 am. Pastor Paul Palmer officiating. Burial Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Noyes Memorial Hospital Foundation or the American Heart Assoc. Sign the online registry at
