Grumpy~
I can't believe I just found out that you passed 2 years after the fact. My heart is shattered. I can't stop crying and I keep praying it's not real. it's been 10 years since i've seen or talked to you...and i'm not sure if that makes it harder or what. I've missed you terribly and have searched for you forever...only to come to the end of my road and discover you're in heaven. :*( You were such an important part of my life...we had so much fun together. You will remain in my HEART forever...I HATE THIS...I love you grump...I miss you terribly. Rest in peace ? xoxoxoxo

To the Meyer Family,
A lot of memories came to mind after I heard the tragic news. We had countless good games on the basketball court behind the Meyer's house. It is a shame that his life was cut short. He will surely be missed. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

To my old friend,
I feel like we just spoke the other day. We would talk about the stupid things we did as kids and even into the highschool days. One thing was always constant though, our friendship. From running around the woods playing ninja as kids to you wooping my rear at basketball into the high school years. we remained solid. I felt close to your family to whom I send my regards. Ryan I could go on all night about the great times and memories we shared big guy, but those memories I keep now until we meet again oneday. Keep an ear out for me buddy and Ill drop you a line from time to time, and Ill listen in the wind fo a response. may the lord bless you and keep, may the lord shine his face down apon you and grant you peace. Amen

First to the Meyers...I'm very sorry for your loss. Anyone who knew Ryan will share those feelings of loss and sorrow. Ryan was a spectacular person. He would bring this wonderful energy to anyone he was near. My children loved him.. he was like an uncle to them. Ashlyn misses him terribly. She wrote him a poem, I will have her post it. I met Ryan through George many years ago. He was Hilarious! His dry sarcasm.. and just witty ways made me smile beyond belief. He meant a lot to myself, and at that time my other half, Rice. Ryan and Rice had this love hate relationship. They didn't want to admit how much they could actually get a long. It wasn't until Rice and I were going through hundreds of names to name our son that I realized how much Rice thought of Ryan. He would say "the first name has to go with Ryan... Ryan has to be his middle name.." We searched and searched for a name to match. I asked Rice why that name was so important.. he told me it was because he wanted Ryan to know how special of a person he was to his life... until that moment I had NO CLUE! I guess there were many conversations that had exchanged. So on October 3 2000 (odd!!) my son Joshua Ryan Fitzgerald was born.
I have many memories of Ryan, too many to share. I will hold them close to my heart until we meet again. I can only say I was one of the many blessed people in this world to have known him. When I think of Ryan, I can feel that same energy and charisma he brought into my life. I will cherish this. Thank you Ryan for giving me such happy memories I am so lucky to have known you.
God bless the Meyers my heart and prayers go out to all of you.

Heaven has one more big heart now, because Ryan is now where he can watch over us all and protect us. Even though I hadn't seen Ryan in a few years, I know that when I would run into him, it was always like we had just spent another night together in the "ICC". We always had a great time together, and his friends were just like his family, he cared for them so deeply. My prayers go out to his family, and I know that I will see him again someday. I love you brother....

I do not even know where to begin for the memories with my Rypuss. I remember when we first met that was it, we took each other's hand to dance and we were as Ry use to say like pea's and carrots from that point. I remember all the laughs that we had I remember the way we loved and cared for each other so much. His favorite team Nebraska Corn Huskers, the Spurs, all the nights of football, basketball, and of course we cannot forget WWE Hulk Hogan was his favorite. He was an all american guy. He loved his dogs Possum held a dear place in his heart. Sorry Connie(may you rest in peace), Zoe (Zur) Stella and Stanley. Christmas time he would start helping me with the lights and then would always disapeer ha. Thanksgiving I have to say was his favorite holiday. I don't even think he knew what Easter was ha. Our first real trip to Mexico the hurricane that we flew in to. Of course he had to go in the Ocean as soon as we got there in 75 mile wind and slipped and cut himself. That was Ry though he was never scared. He just went with life and did it. My God the memories that we shared and the years we spent. I will always, always remember you. Your favorite pack of gum, your picture you drew when you were a child, pictures, cards, your T-Shirts that you loved so much. You favorite color well yes Red b/c of Nebraska but also Yellow. And you loved saying it to b/c of that Song ha. I found change yesterday in boxes from that jewelry store that we went to Canalside, did you leave those for me ? Pennies from Heaven ? :'( I love you and I'm missing you like crazy all our memories togehter our up's down's and just being together. When it thunder's I will always think of you I will just think of you bowling up there in heaven, my mom always use to say that when it thundered. You loved bowling, playing pool we use to do that alot. Watching you play basketball at the school. Your wrestling figures your basketball cards, your figures, play station. All your favorite things. I know you watched real world to you just didn't want to admit you liked my show. We shared so much together I'm so sorry so so sorry. I will miss you so much. You were a very very special person in my life for always. I will remember you always Ry! I'm so upset my God I just I'm glad that I can share at least a few of the many things that we shared Rypuss! I know that George (Kerry) will always be your best pal and will miss you terribly. And Jerry to. We all had some really good times. And your parents Mista' and Mrs Meya' as I call them. My God Ryan the memories we had with them going to dinner, our Mexico trip, parties. Going to play pool with your Dad. Your Mom was so very special to you My God did you love your parents like crazy. And Jaime and Jeff too. I remember the laugh's we use to have with your sister. Boy did you love her to. You wanted nothing but the very best for her always. I know that you love your brother Jeff very dearly also. You guys were always looking out for each other. I can only hope and pray that you are at peace and that you will always always live on with me ! I will always hold you close. Ok Ry?! I love you Rypuss!
