Greece: On Oct. 2, 2008. Predeceased by first wife, Catherine Lawson Sponn. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; 6 sons, David (Barbara), Daniel (Betsy), William (Mary Grace), Robert (Emelda), James (Joan), Joseph (Donna); step-children, Joan (Don) Wania, Mary Anne (David) Pitcher, Rita Marie Geary, Joseph Geary, Paula (Andrew) DiTucci; 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews. Retiree of Eastman Kodak. Army Veteran of Korean Conflict, Member of Knights of Columbus-4th Degree, Former Parishioner of St. Helen's Church, Past President of Diocesan Pastoral Council.
Friends may call at ARNDT FUNERAL HOME, 1118 Long Pond Rd. (S. of Maiden Lane), on Sunday, 4-7 PM. Everyone will meet on Monday, 12Noon at Holy Name of Jesus Church (Bonesteel St.). Interment Grove Place Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to American Cancer Society.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

We knew Bill at St. Helen's and our son went to school with his son Joey. Also his wife Kay was one of my Cub Scout Den mothers as I was the leader. He was a very nice person.
