George Wallace Obituary

Wallace, George H.
Rochester: September 27, 2008. Born 10/07/1924. Predeceased by his sister, Regina O'Hehir; brothers, Charles and Francis. Survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Maureen (Bohdan) Baran, Eugene (Cheryl) Wallace and Kathleen (James) Phillips; grandchildren, James and Anna Phillips; many nieces and nephews. George enlisted in the Army and served in China during WWII in the 14th Air Force, 23rd Fighter Group 75th Fighter Squadron as a Crew Chief on Fighter Air Craft formerly known as the Flying Tigers. He hired out on New York Central Railroad and retired from Conrail as a Freight Conductor with over 40 years of service. A special thank you to Episcopal Church Home and Lifetime Care for their loving care.
Friends may attend his Memorial Mass, Tuesday at 9:30 AM at St. Boniface Church. Inurnment in Riverside Cemetery. Arr: John J. Curran Funeral Home.
