Lent, Vernon R.
Dansville: On 10/7/08 at age 93. Retired owner of Lent Dodge Inc. in Dansville. Husband of seventy-one years to Catherine Williamson Lent. Father of Richard "Dick" (Carol) Lent of Penn Yan; father in-law of Helen Lent of Dansville; grandfather of Janice (Robert) Infantino, Patricia Lent, Robert (Jeanine) Lent and David Lent; great-grandfather of Alyssa Infantino; Brother of Lillian (Alex) Alexandris of FL, and Rachel Neff of Corning; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son William "Bill" Lent and a brother Wilbur Lent.
Calling hours Thursday 3-5 pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, where services will be held at 5:00pm. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dansville Ambulance Fund, PO Box 235, Dansville, NY 14437.

Vern was a wonderful person, the auto industry has missed him for years but relations have taken over and will do a job Vern will be proud of. dealers like him are hard to fnd in todays industries.

We enjoyed doing "business" with Vernon at the Dodge dealership. He was always willing to help us out with whatever we wanted. He always had a smile on his face. Our thoughts and prayers go to Catherine and Dick and Carol.
