I worked with Katy in the kitchen at Marvin's Country Club for several years. She was a wonderful woman who was very creative.
My son Kurtis would come to work with me sometimes and Katy would always let him help her in the kitchen. I think that she taught him alot, as he is now a Head Chef here in Florida.
Everyone seemed to love Katy!
We will miss you Katy! Our prayers go out to the entire family.

My favorite thing Katy use to tell me at work (Marvin's Country Club) was to "Go play in traffic!" It was classic--always made me smile. My condolences to family and friends for your loss.
