Lillian Charles Obituary
Rochester/Williamson: Passed away on September 15, 2008, at Highland Hospital. A graduate of Syracuse and Columbia Universities, she taught home economics at Rush, Williamson, and Olean. She was a Guidance Counselor at Gates-Chili when she retired after 36 years in education. Predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Robert F. Charles. Survived by sister-in-law, Katherine Charles of New Jersey; niece, Carol (Cari, Tim) Dickinson of Williamson; friend, Rosalind (James) McClellan of Rochester, and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 23 at 3:00 at Young Funeral Home, W. Main St., Williamson. Interment at Lake View Cemetery, Pultneyville. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Red Cross, 400 S. Main St., Newark, NY 14513.
