Sarah Foor Obituary

Foor, Sarah Jeanette
Spring Hill, FL: Died October 3, 2008. Formerly of Rochester, NY and Naples, FL. Predeceased by her husband S. Wayne Foor in 1996, she is survived by her son Les Foor and daughter-in-law Susan of Penfield, NY, daughter Linda Cohan and son-in law Lawrence of Yankeetown, FL, grandchildren Scott Cohan of Oregon and Sonya Cohan of Florida, and great-grandchildren Alexis, Jacob, Sophia and Samuel.
Jeanette was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1914, received a B.A. from Ohio State University in 1936 and moved to Rochester in 1938. In Rochester, she was an active member of Asbury First Methodist Church and choir and a volunteer with several organizations. She was a member of the Rochester Power Squadron and the P.E.O. Retiring to Naples in 1975, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and choir and a volunteer with Youth Haven.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. The family suggests that any memorial gifts be sent to Youth Haven, 5867 Whitaker Road, Naples, FL 34112, or the charity of the donor's choice.
