Rosine Petitti Obituary

Petitti, Rosine Favaro
Greece: Passed away on October 7, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family. Rosine was born in Sherman Texas on November 8th, 1922.
She is survived by her four children, Mrs. Toni Cavallaro of Greece, NY; Dr. Diana Petitti, of Phoenix, AZ; Mrs. Judy Welborn and her husband Thomas, of Baton Rouge, LA; and Dr. Leonard Petitti and his wife Linda of Apple Valley, CA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren & three great-grandchildren: Michael Cavallaro and Leah Armstrong of Rochester, NY; Jason Welborn of Lafayette, LA, Shawn Welborn and Matthew Welborn of Baton Rouge, LA; SaraSelene Petitti Hausman of Phoenix, AZ; Tracie Petitti, Megan Petitti, Nicholas Petitti, and Nathan Petitti of Apple Valley, CA and Chandler, Kennedy, and Austin Welborn of Lafayette, LA. She is also survived by her dear friend, Jim Kelsey.
Rosine is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Leonard Petitti. She was cremated and her ashes will be buried at Simpson Campground Cemetary in Nacogdoches, TX where her husband, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and numerous other family members are buried.
After moving to Rochester twelve years ago, Rosine joyfully devoted thousands of hours as a volunteer at Edna Wilson Nursing Home. Her family would like to thank the staff for the kindness and friendship they extended to Rosine.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
