I read the entry submitted by my sister and it took me a few moments to have it really register. I could have easily been written by me. I too have many fond memories of visiting Dansville but mine were many years before Patti was even born. Uncle Bob was the pastor of the Presbyterian Church and we stayed at his home. A small stream ran nearby and it was always a source of intrigue for Bob, Kay and myself. I remember many visits to Stony Brook and Lechworth State Park. I still cherish many of the black and white photos that Uncle Bob took on our visits and some of the are my favorite childhood photos. I recently found a wedding photo of Bob and Naomi, it closes a very large circle that brings her Maid of Honor, Catherine VanSant, into our extended family. Rest in Peace aunt Naomi I will remember you in my prayers.

I haven't seen Aunt Naomi in a long, long time, but I have very fond memories of my visits to see her and Uncle Bob when I was younger. My dad and Uncle Bob were brothers. We would drive from Ft Wayne to Dansville and stay in the old home that they lived in when he was a Reverend. I remember catching crawfish in the creek with Keith and Kevin and I remember Aunt Naomi's macaroni salad. I don't know why, but I loved her macaroni salad. I remember Aunt Naomi as being the sweetest person. I never saw her angry or upset. As a little girl, she was always very kind to me. Thanks Aunt Naomi, Rest in Peace! Love, Patti McKee-Ottinger
