Clarence Webb Obituary
Conesus Lake/Avon: May 26, 1919- Oct. 18, 2008. Predeceased by his wife, Betty Webb and son, Richard Webb. He is survived by sons, James H. Webb (Cathy Johnson) and William H. Webb; 5 wonderful grandchildren, Andrea (Mark) Pascuzzi, Holly (Jim) Wright, James D. (Angela) Webb, Taryn Webb, Tammy (Russ) Wood; 8 great-grandchildren; a very dear friend, Dorothy Brown, and so many others close to his heart. He was a WW II veteran, a lifetime member of the Livingston Country Club, and an avid hunter. He was one of a kind, one to look up to, loved by all, and will be missed very dearly. We will always love you, "Grampy".
Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 350 Genesee St. Avon., where his Funeral Service will be held Wed. 11 AM. Interment, East Bloomfield Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Trauma Unit ICU, 3rd Floor 2800 at Strong Memorial Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642.

I just read the thank you note in the penny saver, and I am so sorry for not knowing before this. Stub was a great guy and will be terribly missed! My sincerest condolences go out to you Jimmy, Holly, Andrea, Taryn and Big Jim...you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

An era has ended. The days of living in East Avon, Grindstone Lake, Hawaii, golfing, hunting, Canandaigua Lake, and Florida are over, but the memories will always be there. "Pete Hoback", you will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear about Stub. What a legend he is. Someone who will never be forgotten because wherever he was there was joy and laughter. I have so many fond memories of him from my younger years...parties at the lake, especially 4th of July...taking us out on the lake and he taught me how to water ski. I was pleasantly surprised last year when I called to talk to Dick and Stub immediately remembered me after over 30 years of being away. I think that is a real testament to his character. He made it a point to really know you and remember you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know you will miss him terribly.
