I am so sorry that I didn't learn about Brad's death until today....almost a month later. It was such a shock. I wish I could have been there to give my condolences to his family. I met Brad through Sue when I worked with her at Dominic's downtown, around 1987. Then I worked out at his gym and became part of the "family" there. He gave the greatest hugs and I am so sad that I will never get another. My love and prayers to Sue and the boys.

I enjoyed working with Silver. He was a nice and funny guy. One memory I have of him is that he never wore a coat, even when it was freezing outside! He would simply say, "It's not cold." My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God's love comfort you in this trying time. He will be missed.

I've had the privilege of knowing Brad since second grade at Brookside Middle School. He was a unique individual that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Although we haven't seen much of each other since high school, he will always be a good old friend. He left way too soon.

Brad, I met you years ago. You were a man whose size could only eclipsed by the size of your heart. It was a pleasure just to know you. You will be missed.

I worked with Brad in the early 1980's at the old Club 747. Brad was a great guy and was always there to help with a problem or just to say "Hello" . He also had a nice gym on Monroe Ave. He will be missed by all.

Brad provided a pathway for many of us to improve our selves way beyond that of "Silver's Gym". Brad's kindness and unconditional help that he gave is a small testimony too his lifes work. I have so many great memories of that time in my life that Brad provided because of his giving nature. He will live forever. Thank you Brad. Thank you to his family who supported Brad in all that he did for others.

I didn't work with Brad long but in that short time he made me feel like I had known him forever. He was a kind hearted, warm, gentle man who (as many have already said) had a heart larger than life itself. He will be missed yet he has never met a person that he didn't touch~that will live on in all of us! My deepest condolences to the family!

I'll alway remember the warm greetings Brad would give my friends and I as we came to workout at Silvers Gym on Monroe Ave. It wasn't the classiest place to squat, grunt or flex (always thought that if anyone would drop the weights they'd fall through the floor) but Brad was the secret ingredient that made that place so great. His big (huge!) arms, trademark coveralls, bushy beard and converse high tops are the image I most fondly remember of him. His smearky warm smile beaming down from above will always be a fond memmory. He was a great guy, a gentle soul and I'll cherish the fond memmories of him. Thank you Brad for being a special part of my life and we'll see you later.

I knew Brad from when he was a bouncer at The Freight House in East Rochester and working out at Arem's Gym in Pittsford back in the 70's. I would see Brad every once in a while when I was back visiting friends around Penfield and Fairport, at Wegmans, or I would see Brad on a flight (he was very tough to miss). A great guy, he will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family.

Brad and I faced off a few times at Brookside School, but I learned quickly that it was better to have him fending OTHERS off on my behalf. We enjoyed a lot of laughs together and many basketball and football games. I will always have great memories of Brad.

I hired Brad back in 1985. Outstanding individual and the kids loved and respected him. Great insight with kids and would do anything for you. His legacy at Industry and also in Rochester, N.Y. will go on for ever. A kind man and a big teddy bear!! Very well respected by his colleagues.

We will always remember Brad with smiles and warm thoughts. We've known Brad from grade school and high school. He was a good friend and was there to lend a hand, a smile or a laugh. He told us that the most important area in his life were his sons. We could tell from the way he talked about them that they were so very much a part of him. He will be very much missed.

I'll never forget Brad smacking me on the back. It was his way of saying hello and my way of flying from point A to point B. (I did get him back for it, though!) I've missed working with Brad and I'll miss the chance to catch up on some old fun times (it's just a little broken glass). Brad, you were a great friend and truly someone to look up to in every sense. You were hard to miss in life and you will never be forgotten. Take it easy, Bud.
