Our hearts and prayers are with you during this sad time. We knew Rich as a thoughtful son-in law who played a vital role in our neighbor, Peggy Smith's life, as long as it was humanly possible for him to do so. He was a gentle, caring man whose amazing spirit burned brightly until his final hours. We will miss his warm smile and unfailing optimism—just as all those who knew him will.
