Fairport: October 23, 2008. Survived by his loving wife, Margaret Kim; daughter, Christine (Dominic) Fekete; and son, Keith (Julie) Beach; 5 grandchildren, Emily, Olivia and Ethan Beach, Jacob and Chase Fekete; sister, Mary Lou Spencer; and many nieces & nephews.
Calling hours, Monday, October 27, 4-7 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, Egypt location, 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd., Fairport. Funeral Service, Tuesday, October 28, 5 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 26 East Church St., Fairport. Our hearts and prayers are with you during this sad time. We knew Rich as a thoughtful son-in law who played a vital role in our neighbor, Peggy Smith's life, as long as it was humanly possible for him to do so. He was a gentle, caring man whose amazing spirit burned brightly until his final hours. We will miss his warm smile and unfailing optimism—just as all those who knew him will.
