Wayland: 71, October 30, 2008. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Joanne; his children, Chip (Angie) Baird, Rich Baird and Natalie Baird (Dave Didas); 6 grandchildren, Cassie & Quint Baird, Brock & Bryce Baird, Jim & Joe Edmister; 1 brother, Theodore E. (Clara) Baird; 1 sister, Miriam E. (Robert) Booth; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, John Forsyth, Sharyl & Bruce Brown, Marilyn & Bernie Beaupre, Jack & Kathy May and Mark & Sue May; aunt & uncles, Cis Reigelsperger, Warren "Mickey" Reigelsperger and Stanley (Jane) Lyttle Sr.; many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Saturday & Sunday at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, 300 West Naples St., Wayland. A Graveside Service with full military honors will be held at 11 am in the Village Cemetery, Wayland. In lieu of flowers, contributions to any youth sports organization or Wayland Fire Dept.
