Higher Above

He was an angel on earth,
A miracle as is every child’s birth,
Simply God given, such a sweet baby boy,
Every moment being our constant joy

For those of us here, our hearts are bleeding,
We’re not even sure if our hearts are still beating,
Our tears have to flow, as we barely know,
How the sunrise can even come,
Without it rising on us with our little loved one

But he’s not here with us today,
God called him to His service,
His child was needed in heaven to help Him,
Fulfill Will’s life purpose

An angel on earth,
Only for a short time,
Now an angel in heaven,
Saying “See and feel my sunshine”

His message comes through,
He’s saying “It’s alright”,
And he knows how much he’s loved,
He’s just far beyond our sight

“I’m still with you”,
“I know how much I’m loved”,
“I so love you too”,
“I’m just a bit higher above”

“So cry as you must,
As you mourn my passing,
Just remember I’m watching……

And we’ll always know,
Our love is Ever-Lasting

To each of you we send this thought:
WHEN I MUST LEAVE YOU
When I must leave you for a little while, please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years, but start out bravely with a gallant smile; and for my sake and in my name live on and do all things the same, feed not your loneliness on empty days, but fill each waking hour in useful ways, reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer and I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; and never, never be afraid to die, for I am waiting for you in the sky!
