Hilton NY: Sunday, March 29, 2026 at age 60. Predeceased by her mother, Sarina Palmieri; mother-in-law, Antonietta Caricati; father-in-law, Guiseppe Caricati.

Carmelina is survived by her father, Giovanni Palmieri; her loving husband of 38 years, Antonio Caricati; devoted children, Antonietta, Joseph and Sara Caricati; siblings, Lenny (Lisa) Palmieri, Josephine (Miguel) Velazquez, and Nick (Judy) Palmieri; many nieces, nephews, cousins, loving family and dear friends.

Carmelina was a devoted wife and loving mother who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for cooking, baking and sharing meals with those she loved, and she never missed an opportunity to enjoy a good laugh. Carmelina also enjoyed time at the casino and playing cards, always bringing her warmth and lively spirit wherever she went.

Carmelina's visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

I attended grammar school and high school with Carm. I was very saddened to hear of her passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Palmieri snd Caricati families, Please accept my sincere condolences. Carm was such a wonderful friend. I have fond memories of our times at St. Andrews and Nazareth Academy. We never knew just what Carm would say at any given time,but we knew it would be funny. In recent years, I'd see her at Wegmans and chat for a few minutes. The last time I saw her we met with my sisters for lunch. Hold on to the wonderful memories of your mom,sister and daughter and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
