Wendell Johnson Obituary
Middleton, NH: Wendell D. Johnson, 98, long time resident of Brighton died of pneumonia September 16, 2007, in Wolfeboro, NH. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State University in 1933 relocating to Rochester in 1942. He was employed by Delco and then he moved on to Qualitrol Corporation in Fairport, NY, where he worked until age 83. Family members include Eleanor, his wife of 72 years; son Eric Johnson of Tucson, AZ; daughters, Ruthann Mammone of Middleton, NH, and Carol Katchmar of Rochester, NY; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one niece.
At the request of the deceased there were no services and his body was donated to Tufts University Health Science Schools in Boston to support medical education and research.
