Dachille, Lazaro "Larry"
Chili: On October 17, 2007, at age 78. Predeceased by his parents, Vito (Vincenza) Dachille; brother, Angelo & sister, Concetta Lionetti. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Colleen; their children, Vincent (Robin), Laura (Angelo) Calcagno, Lawrence (Mary), Anthony (Renee), Catherine (John) Mackey & William Dachille; 16 grandchildren; brother, Anthony & sister, Madeline Salzone; several nieces and nephews.
A Veteran of the Korean War. Serving as a Staff Sgt. in the Army. Received a Combat Infantry Badge, a Korean Service Medal with 3 bronze stars & United Nations Service Medal. A member of the Knights of Columbus for 50+ years, earning 4th Degree Status. Past Commander of VFW Post 412, was Chairman of the Building Committee for the building of VFW Post 412 home. Also a member of the Korean War Combat Infantry Men's Assoc. Past Commander of the Amvets, Major Hurley Post.
Family and friends are invited to call Saturday 4-7 pm, Sunday, 1-3 & 6-8 pm at Miller Funeral Homes (3325 Winton Rd. S.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 9 am at St. Christopher's Church (3350 Union St.). Interment will be celebrated in Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bath Veteran's Hospital. For directions or to leave a message of condolence please light a candle at
