My sister, Lu, was a special, very caring person, one of a kind, and was always dedicated to the people and things in her life that really mettered to her. It's hard to think of life without her. I'll always remember growing up with her being there, always so generous, such strong values and principles, and always working hard and yet so close to friends and family. I know many of her good qualities rubbed off on me and those close to her, so there will always be a part of her living on in others. We'll miss you very much, Lu. You left us too suddenly, and way too young. Ciao, Luiza.

Aunt LuLu was one of the strongest, most amazing women I have ever known. I can not remember a time in my life when she wasn't there, and I can't imagine life, now, without her.

We are saddened by Lu's passing and will miss our neighborly visits. Don will miss being picked on and enjoyed his verbal jousting with Lu. She could always hold her own while Rose just sat there and smiled. The neighborhood will miss Lu. Sorry that we will not be able to attend Lu's services as we are in Florida but we will see Rose, Leslie and the kids when we return. Our love to all.
