Teresa Proeto Obituary
Penfield: Entered into rest with her family at her side, Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at the age of 68. Terry is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, Joseph Proeto; daughters, Tambre Proeto-Denigro, Karen (Michael) Preston, Michelle (Thomas) Charland, and Tracy (Terry) Doll; grandchildren, Andrew Mohney, Jonny & Hannah Denigro, Cody, Kyle & Zachary Preston, Kevin & Nicole Charland and Connor Doll; sisters, Patricia Albano, Rosalie DelConte and Linda Hamil; brothers, Frank, Louis and Phillip (Linda) Fusilli; sisters-in-law, Ann Marie (Anthony) Lipari and Lois (Robert) Meli; many nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends Friday 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 10:00am at Holy Spirit Church for her funeral mass. Interment, Holy Trinity Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lifetime Care Hospice of Rochester, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623.

This was the most generous, loving, woman I have ever had the honor to know. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Always buying things for her children and grandchildren, rarely thinking of herself. She was a good woman and a pure hearted soul. If anyone gets straight to heaven, it's Terry. I will never forget her.

I remember Terry always having a beautiful smile on her face. I remember her face as always being rosey, fresh and happy. I worked as a social worker with Terry at Visiting Nurse Service. She cared deeply for the patients and did everything in her power to assist them.

Dear Joe and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember all the years Terry and I drove to Nazareth College together and our friendship with both of you over the years. I am so sorry I cannot be there at this time as we are in Canada til the end of the month. Please accept both Don and my sympathy. Know that even though we have not been in touch in recent years, we still valued our friendship. Your family is in our prayers.

I remember Terry being a social worker on several of my cases when I worked as a CHN at Visiting Nurse Service. She had such a caring way with patients and did her best to service their needs. I feel very blessed to know her daughter Michelle who was my leader, mentor and fellow nursing student at Alfred University. Michelle, you and your family are in my prayers.
