Thomas Gable Obituary
East Rochester: October 27, 2007, at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his parents, John and Helen Gable of Taylor, PA, his wife, Jean and a brother, John. He is survived by 3 daughters, Marjorie (Robert) Villa of Chili, Judy (David) Hofer of Kendall & Nancy Zimmerman of East Rochester; grandchildren, Anthony Villa and Matthew & Jessica Hofer; brothers, Joseph (Ann), Clarence, Albert, Leonard (Connie) & Edward; sisters, Helen Matzan, Leona Juba & Eleanor Cebula; many nieces & nephews. Tom was a 1948 graduate of Taylor High School in Taylor, PA. After working 25 years at Kodak, Tom continued working for the Fairport School District for several years in the Maintenance Department.
Friends may call TUESDAY, 2-4, 7-9 pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Tom's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on WEDNESDAY at St. Jerome's Church in East Rochester. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. The courtesy of no flowers is requested. If you would like to make a contribution in Tom's memory, it was his request that you please consider directing it to St. Jerome's Church.

We have known Tom & Jean since the 1980's, when Jean babysat for our children. Their family was always so precious to ours. I have always said if you looked in the dictionary under the word "gentleman", Tom's picture should be there. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. May he rest in peace & I know that he will live on in his beautiful daughters.

You are a special friend "Dad". I know that you were a great husband, dad, grandfather and friend. You were a special person to me. You are our special guardian angel to watch over us.
