Brighton: November 4, 2007. Predeceased by his son, Terence J. Matthews, M.D. Survived by his wife Helen B.; daughter, Patricia M. Hemmett of Mattoon, IL; son, William B. (Donna) Matthews of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Robert (Karen Anne) Hemmett of Poulsbo, WA and Karen Marie Pope of Shelbyville, IL; great-grandchildren, Sarah and Michael Hemmett; brother, David (Sandy) of Oxnard, CA; nieces, nephews and many dear friends. A graduate of the University of Rochester, Milton was employed by Eastman Kodak Co. and General Motors-Delco Division. President of the the Milton C. Matthews Co. Inc., as a Manufacturer's Representative. He served Rotary International as a District Governor in District 7120 and as a Charter Member of the Brighton Rotary Club. He was elected by the Club as a Paul Harris Fellow. Milton was an active member and Elder of Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 10th at Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church, 1200 Winton Rd. S. Private Interment at White Haven Memorial Park.
