Wackerman, John E. "Jack"
Greece: Passed away peacefully with his daughters' at his side on November 12, 2007, at age 81. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jessie; daughters, Dawn (James) Schottmiller and Wendy (Scott) Swinney; beloved grandchildren, Courtney, Joseph and Brittany Schottmiller and sister, Norma Massey. John was a United States Navy Veteran serving during WW II.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday (TODAY) November 14th, from 6-8 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10 A.M. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Assoc. To share a memory please visit

I saw the notice of Jack's passing too late to attend the service. What a nice man he was. I know that Jack was a great Dad and Husband and he will be missed by you. God Bless all of you in your time of sorrow.

To Jesse, Dawn (Jim, Court, Joe & Britt), Wendy & Scott--All our love and prayers to all of you. Jack was a great man, husband, father and grandpa. Remember all the great times and how very much he loved you all. Wish we could be there with you, but we are with you in spirit as you say a final earthly goodbye to Jack.
