Smith, Emma F. (Marino)
Oakmont, PA: Age 86, slipped away peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2007 surrounded by her family. Born in Rochester, NY. Beloved wife of 66 years to Melvin J. Smith (Mel). Mother of Peggy (Stanley) Dedoszak, Sharon (Dennis) Bourdreau, Albert (Michele), Garry (Colleen), Thomas (Debra), and Stephen (Mary Pat). Also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Victoria D'Ambrosio. Predeceased by her parents, Anna and Sebastian; her son, Jeffrey John; 2 brothers; and 1 sister.
Friends will be received on Friday from 3-9pm at the English Funeral Home, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA, 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sat. at 9:30 at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Emma's son to the National MS Society, 6665 Quince Rd., Suite 114 Memphis, TN 38119 c/o Gail Rothwell.
