To Lou's Beloved Family:

Lou was my neighbor in PGA National and we became friends last year. We had a lot of fun together, we were walking buddies and we went to the Honda Classic together in March. Lou was a wonderful person and a loving, kind man. I just found out last week that Lou left us to become an angel and I will always remember his smiling face and infectuous laugh. While I only knew Lou for a short time, I was blessed to have known him. I am just sorry we hadn't kept in touch since August. I thought he was spending most of his time in Rochester with his family and did not want to disturb his time with you. If I had known he wasn't doing that well and was in Florida, I would have made the effort to go to his home and visit. I kept driving by his house hoping to see his car, but because I didn't see his car in his driveway, I thought that meant that he was still in Rochester visiting his precious family. My love and condolences to Lou's family. I will also miss him very much.

Lou was the first friend we met 10 yrs. ago after moving from CT to Florida. Words cannot express how much we will miss him, especially Charlie, as he was his first friend he made.

To the family. Lou was my classmate in Hosea Rogers, and for a time in High School. He was a great kid, and a good man. He certainly was a favorite with all of us.

Father,

Thank you for all the cherished memories you have left me with. I am especially grateful for the many memories we shared during the last year of your life. You gave and shared so much of yourself during these past 12 short months. My family and I are honored that you dedicated the last year of your life to us. We will never have a better Thanksgiving, Christmas or family vacation than the ones we shared with you this past year. Thank you for letting us take care of you up until the bitter end when you finally decided you wanted to go "home". As sad as that made us I know you just wanted to spare me the grief of seeing you die.
No one will ever love me the way you loved me and there has never been a stronger father/daughter bond than the one we had.
Thank you for loving me, I will miss you and honor your memory every day!
"Your Favorite Daughter"

To the Cocilova Family,
Lou was my best friend for the past 24 years. Words cannot express how much I will miss him. I would say this about Lou,

Some men did great things,
Some wished they could.
All Lou wanted was to work with wood,
Just Give him his hammer, nails and a saw,
He would make you a bench or a fancy door.
Along side a lake and a beautiful tree,
this is where our memory of him will be.

We will forever keep him in our hearts.
