Daddy:
Even though we were not as close as we should have been I know that you loved me the very best way that you knew how to. You will always be my father and in my heart and thoughts each and everytime a personal milestone for myself or one of your grandkids occurs. I refused to cry when you left because I knew you were finally at peace and Grandma Rose is with you once again. I will miss you but I will see you one day again:)
Your Daughter,
Shontia

Dear Slade family,
I am deeply sorry for the loss of George. I went to Fairport High School with George & will always remember watching him playing basketball & his great smile. May God grant your family comfort and peace.

Something Beautiful Remains
The tide recedes but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle
warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it echoes
on in sweet refrains.....
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.

Mr. Slade, Diane, and Shontia: No words can express the pain of loss that is so final. However, please always hold on to and cherish the many memories that are so precious and few. May God be with you all in your time of sorrow.
