Marion Goodman Obituary

Goodman, Marion R.
Irondequoit: December 6, 2007, passed away peacefully at age 99. Predeceased by seven siblings; husband, Louis Goodman; son-in-law, Dr. R. Peter Plosscowe; and later companion, Frank Packard. Survived by son, Irwin Goodman of Webster; daughter, Shelli Plosscowe of Toledo, OH; grandson, Richard Plosscowe of San Francisco, CA, and many nieces and nephews.
Marion was a native of Rochester, 1926 graduate of East High School and worked for the City School District from 1926-33. Alumna of Hochstein School of Music, she was a passionate pianist and writer. Active in local Chapter of Pioneer Women's Organization for many years. Charter member of Temple Emanu-El of Irondequoit.
Funeral services will be held 11AM on Sunday, December 9th at Parsky Memorial Chapel, 1125 St. Paul St., followed by interment in Riverside Cemetery-Temple Emanu-El plot. A period of mourning will be held at 515 Drumm Road, Webster, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Temple Emanu-El, 2956 St. Paul Blvd., 14617, or a charity of your choice. For directions or to leave a message of condolence, please visit:

I am sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved Mother. I have fond memories of my childhood with you and the Smokey Club. I remember you Dad's printing business in the basement of your home on Barry Road. Cherish the memories.
