Maria Burkhartt Obituary
Rochester: Passed away peacefully on December 8, 2007, at age 86. Survived by her husband of 60 wonderful years, Raymond; son, Glen (Cindy); daughter, Gail (Drew) Orione; grandchildren, Matthew and Peter Burkhartt; brother, Rudolph Merwar; sisters, Anna Maschlanka and Irmgard Kobylski of Germany; sisters-in-law, Arlotte (Ernest) Burkhartt of WA, and Marianne (Franz) Merwar of Germany; many nieces and nephews.
No prior calling. A Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, December 15, at 9:30 AM at Spiritus Christi Church, 121 North Fitzhugh St. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Shepherd Home, 1959 Five Mile Line Rd., Penfield, NY 14526.

Maria Burkhartt will be missed. I had the pleasure to work with her at st. anns home (The Heritage-Palliative Care Center). Maria and her husband Ray filled my days with laughter and joy. They are such a beautiful couple. May Maria rest in peace. Ray and the family will stay in my prayers. With Love and Respect, Sakunda.

Aunt Mitzi was the kindest woman I ever met. Anyone who knew her was truly blessed to do so. She will be missed but her memory will live on forever. I love you Aunt Mitzi. My sympathy to Uncle Ray.
