Stacy Brunson Obituary

Stacy Lynn Brunson 1978 ~ 2008 Stacy Lynn Brunson passed away peacefully in her parents' arms on Sunday, Dec. 21st after a short struggle with pneumonia. Stacy was born Sept. 18, 1978 to Ross and Marde Brunson. She was our little angel. Even though she never spoke a word, her very presence brought such love, peace and tranquility into our home. We will miss her so much! Stacy attended school at Jordan Valley from age 3 to 22. She participated in parties, plays, field trips and programs of all kinds, in addition to therapy and IEP's. She was taught by wonderful, caring teachers whose unconditional love for special children was always evident and deeply appreciated. We would like to give our sincere thanks to those who have helped take care of Stacy and who have touched her life, throughout the past 30 years. She had a special bond with her Grandma Mary Jensen who loved to take care of her. We thank all of you who have made Stacy's life easier and better. Stacy will be greatly missed by her mom, dad and siblings, Heidi Earl (Doug), Russell (Collette), Scott (Rochelle) and Shawn (Shelley) Brunson, and nieces and nephews Bradley, Melissa, Katelyn, Juliana, Dallin, Bowen, Ellie, Corbin, Dexter, Ivy and all her extended family. Stacy was preceded in death by her Uncle Albert Peters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Midvalley 5th Ward Building at 1211 E. 7800 S. Midvale, Utah. Friends and family are invited to the viewing on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Cannon Mortuary located at 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) or to a second viewing to be held on Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services at the ward house. Burial will be at the East Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Provo, Utah.

Ross & Marde-
What a special spirt Stacy was. I was fortunate enough to have babysat her years ago and watched her grow. What a great comfort to know she is now running and playing and doing all the things she wasn't able to do here.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

There is music in my soul today,
A carol to my King.
And Jesus listening can hear,
The words I cannot sing.

Stacy can sing and be heard now. I'm sure she is smiling down with a heart filled with joy for the family she loves.

Know you are in our prayers.

Dear Marde, Ross, and Family, We just got your Christmas letter and family picture and I commented to Steve what a beautiful family the Brunsons are. We have been gone for 25 years but cherish the memories our families made when we lived at the other end of the street. Stacy was indeed a sweet angel. May you all feel comfort and peace at this difficult time. Love, Barbara and Steve Hurst and Family

What a beautiful angel Stacy is. I could feel her spirit thru her picture. She is now SINGING with the choirs in Heaven. She will be watching over her family, smiling, telling everyone in Heaven about each of you, and keeping each of you safe. May God shower you with His eternal peace at this time.
God be with you til you meet again.
