SHERYLYN PERKINS Obituary

Sherylyn Elsie Perkins 1984 ~ 2009 Sherylyn Elsie Perkins returned to her Heavenly Father Thursday August 20, 2009 as the result of a traffic accident in Arbon Valley, Idaho. She was born on January 22, 1984 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Odell Lawrence Perkins and Karen Lee (Kelly) Perkins. Sheryl loved music and wrote many songs. She was very creative and enjoyed creating useful items from odd bits and fabrics. She was noted for her non-judgmental works of service for others with difficulties. Her loving, kind and quiet acts will be greatly missed. She is survived by her parents Odell and Karen Perkins, grandparents Myrlen E and Elsie (Stanger) Kelly, older brothers Justin, Jared, Jathan, Joshua and older sister Klea Lee and their families. Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 25, 2009 in the Arbon Valley Chapel located at 1358 Church Road, off the Arbon Valley Highway. The viewing will be held before the funeral service from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Cemetery in Rockland. We wish to thank all those who took part in the kind and respectful care of Sherylyn and the loving service offered by family and friends.

Dear Karen, Odell and Family,
We heard about Sherylyn yesterday at church. We are so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a child, who is young and just starting life. We have many fond memories of you and your children, in the ward and in the neighborhood. Memories as far back as the early 70's!! We have missed you and have often thought about you. Our hearts are filled with sorrow, as we know you must grieve, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, at this time. Dear Odell & Karen...

Our hearts ache for you at the loss of Sherylyn. We know all too well the pain of losing a child in an instant.
