Conrad Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, Jr. Conrad R. "Rusty" Williams, Jr., 53, of Dublin, went to be with the Lord on Sunday August 10, 2008. He was a longtime Information Technology Analyst in Columbus, OH. Graduate of Northland High School 1973 and The Ohio State University 1977 where he was a member of the OSU Marching Band 1973 and 1974. Member of OSU and TBDBITL Alumni Clubs. Graduate of Central Michigan University 1988 where he received a Masters in Administration. He had interest in jazz, fine art, painting, snow skiing and golf. Preceded in death by father Conrad R. Williams Sr. Survived by wife, Joan; daughter, Lauren; son, Alexander; mother, Lucille Williams of Columbus; brothers, Terry (Becky) Williams of Delaware and Matthew (Amy) Williams of Westerville; sister, Connie (Greg) Schwepe of Lewis Center; brother-in-law, Richard (Sally) Rowe of Cottageville, WV; sister-in-law, Margaret (L. E. "Bud") Burke of Richmond, VA; and many other relatives and friends. Member of Indian Run United Methodist Church, 6305 Brand Rd., Dublin, OH 43016 where a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008. Burial Dublin Cemetery following the service. Family and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME at POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St.(Powell Rd./St.Rt.750/1/4 mile east of Sawmill Pkwy.) Powell, OH 43065. One of the perils of waiting too long to look up an old friend to talk and laugh about old times is waiting too long. I waited too long.

Appreciate the time that you had together and remember the best of times shared.

To Alex and Lauren: As I tell my Alex and Kari, I will live as long as they do if they put a little of me in each day of their lives. I hope that each of you put a little of Rusty in your lives, and the lives of your children, each day, as well.
