While traveling I learned of this sad event. Sorrow and surprise followed by a feeling of deepest sympathy for all those experiencing the passing of this most special woman. My memories of the ever smiling Susie go back to her high school years and on into womanhood. Please know that she in some way made every life she touched a bit happier and a bit better. She has now joined her father far sooner than any of us could have expected.

She was so proud of you, Sarah and Andy. I pray that your precious memories will help you through. Lee Rafeew

Dear Zalik Family

I am so very sorry for your loss. I am one of Sue's friends from her ebay group and the online TDIPT Mercantile from where her and Lynn sold their beautiful stitcheries.
I feel so very blessed to own a few of their stitcheries and I will cherish them forever.
When I saw Sue's picture, she looked just as I had imagined her to look, beautiful and vibrant.... with a smile that would light up the world. I now know that Sue was just as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside.
She often spoke of her family, and how close you all were, how she enjoyed shopping and lunch w/ sisters and Mom, and skiing w/ hub, and most of all her children.

We are all so deeply saddened, and Sue will be missed by all of us who were fortunate enough to call her friend.

Keeping your entire family in our thoughts and prayers.

I am one of Sue and Lynn's Stitchery customers have been for years and years. I am in shock, the first thing I had to do was go and touch all of Sue and Lynn's stitcherys. Both Sue and Lynn helped me threw a very difficult time with the loss of our Marine son. Thier stitcherys touched my heart, and meant something to me to help heal my broken heart
one of my favorite stitcherys that Sue made for me is
If Tears Could
Build A Stairway
And Memories A Lane
I'd Walk Right Up To Heaven
And Bring You Home Again
In My Heart Forever

My Prayers are going up to surround All of You with Gods Love
Sue will be remembered each & every time I look at the wonderful Stitcherys that the both of you made. I will be reminded that they were each made by Loving Hands with Hearts of Gold

To The Zalik Family,

We were so shocked to hear of Sue's sudden passing. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Compare the loss of Sue to a book. Over the coming weeks, the book will be open in front of you and you will be wildly turning the pages. Then with time, you’ll slow down and start to read. With more time, you’ll close the book and put it on a shelf. Occasionally, you’ll open it and read more. Then, the book will be closed and put on a shelf in your minds to be taken down from time to time when some event triggers a memory.

When we open Sue's book, the event that will trigger our memory will be Labor Day Weekend 2007 at Clear Creek.

God Bless All of You!
