Evelyn Lazzari Obituary

Evelyn L. Lazzari of Leominster, St. Cecilia member; 85 LEOMINSTER Evelyn Louise Lazzari, 85, died Friday July 25, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Fitchburg. She was born on July 30, 1922 in Vancouver, Washington, the daughter of the late Skelton and Mary (Lamb) Smith. Her husband George B. Lazzari died on December 2, 1980. She leaves a daughter, Helen I. Rinaldi and her husband, Michael of Leominster; two sisters, Ethel Martini and Marie B. Russo, both of Pittsfield; her two grandchildren, Christopher Rinaldi of Rhode Island, and Patricia Rinaldi of Worcester. She was predeceased by two brothers, Grant M. Smith and M. Thomas Smith. Mrs. Lazzari was a member of St. Cecilia's Parish in Leominster. Her greatest joys in life came as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. LAZZARI The Funeral will be held on Monday July 28 from The Curley-Marchand Funeral Home, 89 West St., Leominster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow at St. Cecilia's Parish Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to: Beacon Hospice Inc., 36 William St., Leominster, MA 01453.
