Julie Accardi Obituary

Julie M. Accardi lived in Lunenburg for five decades; 81 LUNENBURG Julie M. (Scipione) Accardi, 81, died Tuesday evening, Sept. 30, in the Health Alliance Leominster Hospital. She was born in Leominster, on Jan. 10, 1927, a daughter of the late Alessio and Natalie (Casassa) Scipione. She was raised in Leominster, attending Leominster public schools, and has lived in Lunenburg since 1952. Mrs. Accardi was a quality control inspector at the former Foster Grant and later Renault Companies of Leominster for several years prior to her retirement in 1980. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the Red Sox. She also enjoyed camping, playing cards, and trips to the casino. She leaves her husband of 58 years, Jordan "Bruno" Accardi of Lunenburg; a son, Jordan R. Accardi of Lunenburg; three daughters, Cynthia M. Constantine and her companion, Samuel Giadone of Leominster, Natalie M. Papini and her husband, Matthew, and Maria T. Seipold and her husband, David all of Lunenburg; three brothers, Louis Scipione, Anthony Scipione and Phillip Scipione, all of Leominster; two sisters, Anna Arsenault of Leominster, and Jenny Caswell of Buford, GA; four grandchildren, Nicole Accardi, Matthew Papini, Nicholas Papini, and Bailey Accardi; and several nephews and nieces. ACCARDI The funeral will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, from the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 763 Massachusetts Ave., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St, Leominster. Burial will be in the St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held on Friday evening, Oct. 3, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. www.masciarellifamilyfuneralhomes.net
