Marie Sideleau Obituary

Marie A. Sideleau lifelong Fitchburg resident; 96 FITCHBURG Marie A. (Chabot) Sideleau, 96, died Saturday, October 4, at the The Highlands in Fitchburg. Mrs. Sideleau was born in Fitchburg, May, 13, 1912, a daughter of Adrien and Eugenie (Berube) Chabot, and had resided in Fitchburg her entire life. Mrs. Sideleau was the wife of the late George E. Sideleau who died in 1979. Mrs. Sideleau is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Raymond G. and his wife, Maryrose Sideleau of Winchendon, and Rene P. Sideleau of Fitchburg; one sister, Cecile Aldrich of Florida; two grandchildren, Scott Sideleau and Andrea Sideleau; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sideleau was the sister of the late Raymond Chabot, and Jeannette Hamel. Mrs. Sideleau was employed for twenty years as a seamstress at the former Baylins Furs of Fitchburg. Mrs. Sideleau was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg. Mrs. Sideleau was a former member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She was an avid Red Sox fan. Mrs. Sideleau was an accomplished seamstress making most of her and her families clothing. SIDELEAU A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 7 at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A visitation period will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 prior to the funeral at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg.
