Barry Norton Wright

Barry Norton Wright lived in Fitchburg most of his life; 76 Fitchburg Barry Norton Wright, 76, died Sunday, October 5, in the Highlands Longterm Care Center, after a long illness. He was born in Fitchburg, on November 2, 1931, the son of the late Jay and Dorothy (Goulding) Ostman and lived here for most of his life. Mr. Wright was an Accountant for many years for several Businesses in the area in the Plastic Industry. He was a 1949 graduate of Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, and was a graduate of Clark University, receiving his Degree in Accounting. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving as an Airman Second Class in the U.S. Air force. He was a member of Monoosnock Country Club in Leominster and was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots and P.G.A. Golf. He loved cats, especially his cat Minnie. He leaves two sons, James Wright of Leominster, and Jonathan Wright of Rockport, Ma.; two daughters, Nicole Wright of Boston and Michele Bilodeau of Preston, Ct.; and six grandchildren. WRIGHT Funeral Services and Burial in St. Bernard's Cemetery will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pat Brody Shelter for Cats, P.O. Box 142, Lunenburg, Ma. 01462.
