James Gentile Obituary

James A. Gentile lifelong resident of Leominster; 88 Leominster James A. Gentile, 88 years old, of Leominster, died Saturday, October 4, 2008 in HealthAlliance-Leominster Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Jacqueline M. (Dupuis) Gentile, two daughters Alice Landry of Townsend and Pamela Bragdon of Merrimack, NH, his son James P. Gentile of Leominster, two sisters Madeline Hoffman of South Carolina and Lena Friedman of Leominster, two brothers Dante Gentile of Leominster and Paul Gentile of Westminster, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Cynthia Gentile. Mr. Gentile was born in Leominster on January 1, 1920, son of Pelino and Anina (Balesi) Gentile and was a lifelong resident. He had worked at the former Foster Grant Co. in Leominster for 25 years. He enjoyed bowling and playing bocce and softball with his brothers. GENTILE A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 -11 am in the funeral home. www.richardsonfuneralhome.net

You were the Best Father In Law a Girl could have!! I will miss you dearly! It will be very hard not having you around. I will never forget you!! I know you are now happy being with Uncle Joe! Now you can go for walks with him around Heaven and play cards.
