I've known and grew up with the Hurley family since I was a child living on Westminster Hill Road.

I moved from the area, but reconnected with Pat when he was our mail carrier in Lunenburg after we moved back from Europe.

I'm so sorry & shocked to hear of Pat's death and my thoughts are with the entire family.

Just wanted to say to the whole family that I am saddened by the news of Pat's passing. I remember the many, many times that Jean would invite me over to the family home and Pat would be in and out and would always speak with me (We all grew up together). He was such a good guy. I always liked him. He meant what he said but he was always kind to me. I pray through Jesus Christ our Dear Lord and Saviour that God's Love surround all of you and give you peace at this time in your lives.

With Much Love and many, many fond memories,
Joyce (Jody)

Hello to the family, in all the years we knew him, Pat was a gentleman, I loved seeing him come to visit his mom, bringing her coffee and would always ask him where mine was. He would just smile. We will miss him too. With our most sincere condolences, Bill and Diane Sicard

Pat was a lot of things some may say a bit of a hermit, and at times cranky and blunt, but that was him, you knew where you stood and you would get an honest answer not some mamsy pamsy what you want to hear bull. He had the best sense of humor and always reminded me a bit of George Carlin in his mannerism and delivery. He was a good man and a good husband, he may not have been the Sunday dinner , come visit with the grandkids type of Dad and thats what i loved about him, his honesty and no non sense attitude . He was mine and i loved him, still do and always will. I will miss you Dad and love you for who you where always.
